well, we've made it out to maryland and currently we're camped out with my folks. grace has moved into her own room and own bed, which means i get more sleep, but she's been a little annoyed that she doesn't get to sleep in our bed anymore (i used to nurse her there in the middle of the night).

she isn't walking or even crawling, but she does talk a lot. that, and she waves constantly. this morning she just had one hand raised all day, looking for people to wave to. amazing.

grace is famous: her picture made it into the potomac almanac. my father and i were accosted by a reporter from the almanac when we were out for an early morning walk at the mall and she took a few pictures of us. thankfully, grace is the only one you can really see (i've never been particularly attractive at 8AM). oh yeah, and i had our telephone listing put in grace's name. her grandma sally thinks it's hilarious that Caller ID prints "Grace Beal" whenever we call...
