weight - 13 pounds, nine and a half ounces

how do i know that? well, we go to a New Moms Group at the 
maternity center and they bring a scale down so nervous moms 
can weigh their babies. i do it just to get a running tab on how 
big our little monster is. she's huge! enormous! and loud!

she's talking up a storm (see grace speaks). we've lost a little ground 
in sleeping through the night, but she does generally cry less at night 
and the daily diaper count has dropped to 8 instead of 12. when you're buying 
diapers by the case, you notice these things. 

for my own part, i'm assembling a nice little powerpoint 
presentation of all the grace materials we have. it actually 
looks pretty slick, and when i get it done i can burn it to 
a CD-ROM and then we'll have Grace: The Multimedia Experience. 
interested parties can email me if they want copies. it just 
may be a while before i actually finish the presentation. 

weird thought of the day: she's 11 weeks on friday (tomorrow). 
it's kind of funny to think that her entire life spans less 
than three months.
