early grace architecture: grace and i started building a house today. i left her alone to work for about 20 minutes and when i came back, she had completed the house to replicate ours, and made furniture and people to go in it.
we're camelot!: grace and ellen have enjoyed watching a quicktime movie of the "Welcome to Camelot" scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, re-created entirely in Legos. you can view it here. Grace got hold of a styrofoam packing frame and put it on her head and marched up to me and announced, "Look Mommy! I'm Camelot!" (Meaning she's a lego from the movie.)
lining up shoes at bedtime: Grace always lines up her slippers next to her bed before bedtime. For her birthday last year, she received a doll from Grammy that came with slippers. I recently discovered that Grace carefully lines up the doll's shoes next to her own, next to the bed, at bedtime.
